He has worked for Mangwana and Partners and Wabatagore and Company before setting up Matutu, Kwirira and Associates before it rebranded to Kwirira and Magwaliba Legal Practitioners. His practice covers civil and labour law litigation and dispute resolution techniques acquired through vast experience in managerial role in law practice, spanning back from 1996, when he was in charge of a law firm at Mangwana and Partners (Chegutu Branch), then in 1997, at Guni Wabatagore & Company (Mutare Branch), then in 1998, (Masvingo Branch) In 1999 he sat up Matutu, Kwirira & Associates (later to be Kwirira & Magwaliba Legal Practitioners) and was in charge of its Chiredzi branch then, until 2012 when he moved to Head Office in Harare. He has vast experience in litigation, legal drafting, dispute resolution, and is the overall head and also in charge of the labour law department and legal drafting. He has since moved back to the office in Chiredzi and oversees the Harare branch as the overall Head.
